“Not everybody has the time or resources to physically take a young person under their wing, but we have an opportunity for you to “adopt” a young person without incurring the responsibility of childcare, discipline or any of the other things that bog down a relationship with a young person. We will even help with homework!!”

In its 2008 "Philanthropy 400" report, The Chronicle of Philanthropy ranked Boys & Girls Clubs of America as number 15 among all nonprofit organizations.

The Boys and Girsl Club of Erie County want to thank you for your past support. Each time you send a donation to the Boys and Girls Club you change a life for the better. YOU make a difference in the lives of children, you give them hope! The young people of our city and county need your continued help to maintain and improve their club. This is a safe place for the children to go, to have safe fun, to get help with their school work, to get a warm mel, a place where they are not alone. Here, they learn to believe in themselves, to develop character, and develop a sense of responsibility to themselves, their schools and to society.

The Boys and Girls Club is opening a Teen Club on Cleveland Road. At this club, teens can enjoy supervised activities as well as do homework, enjoy music and each other in safety. We need your financial support to continue to fill the desperate need for guidance. We cannot do it without you. It takes all of us to give these young people a real chance at a successful life. The Boys and Girls Club made a real difference in the lives of two people we all know: Denzel Washington and Jennifer Lopez.
